Intel® InBusiness™ Remote Services Center

We know that installing new technology in your business is only the beginning of our responsibilities.  Delivering just-in-time knowledge of products and services to your personnel, and supporting your new network in a responsive manner are the keys that allow us to unlock all of the potential of your technology investment.  Without that awareness, we would be just another computer business.

We deliver premium, proactive support services to our clients through Intel's new Remote Services Center.  This remarkable combination of software agents and hardware enables us to continuously monitor your network.  Critical thresholds are monitored 24X7; if they are exceeded, an email message is triggered, or we are paged depending on the urgency of the event.  Best of all, in most cases we are able to quickly respond from our office or home, without traveling to your location!

For example, if your server's hard disk storage exceeds an '80% full' threshold, we are notified  immediately, allowing us to stop trouble before it happens.  Even better, if you have a question that requires us to view your current situation on-screen, we can remotely access your computer's screen from our network management console, again without driving out to your location!  It's like having access to a full-time staff support person, but at part-time prices.

Using the remote control features of Intel's software agent, we can collaborate real-time with your people, answer questions, demonstrate best-practice techniques and generally deliver just-in-time knowledge to your business.  Best of all, we choose together which workstations (if any) you want monitored in addition to your server, based on your actual needs and preferences.

The Remote Services Card resides in your network's server, but is remarkably independent of it.  Although the Remote Services Card is inside the network server, its unique design includes a dedicated backup power supply connection, its own network access cable, and of course a connection to a normal phone line.  For example, the server could be completely powered down, and our Remote Services Console still has access to all your other managed systems on the network.  This intelligent design greatly increases our ability to remotely respond to most real-world system problems.

Our ability to support and collaborate with our clients is our most important product.  You can't take full advantage of technology if your people don't know how to use it properly.  We find that it is very difficult for small to mid-sized businesses to send their busy people out to attend training.  To help  overcome this obstacle we leverage technology that allows us to deliver critical information to you on a just-in-time basis.

Today's modern knowledge worker is adopting this skill/knowledge acquisition model more and more.  Ubiquitous Internet access, and our optional remote services delivery model operate together effectively, allowing our small businesses to collaborate and communicate at a very high level.
